Try with nat=yes. You can test easily if the configuration works before purchasing with our Demos here:

.... You must setup your PBX to receive incoming calls from the DID (see here: phone2call.com/w/index.php?title=How_to_..._Phone2call%27s_DIDs).

According to that guide, one of the options under the trunks configuration is "nat=never", however I have my PIAF-Asterisk behind NAT and my current trunks have the "nat=yes" option. I also have the NAT settings taken care of in the PIAF general configuration, meaning my PBX is aware of being behind NAT and knows what its "public" (NATed) IP is.

So having said that, will it work in my case? (using "nat=yes")
Thanks

So if I understand correctly, it looks like my pbx does not have to register with you? (since I do not see any information about username/PASSWORD for me to add in the Registration String, or the "username" and "secret" options in the trunk configuration)
You are right. This happens because the flow of calls is from our DID's IPs to your PBX Asterisk Server and not viceversa.
It seems like the other way around: your DID has to register with my pbx instead, or in case there's no continuous registration, simply a call is forwarded whenever it occurs?
The main point is that our DIDs' servers send calls to your PBX server and it is a must that you had configured your Asterisk to allow incoming calls from those servers/IPs (authentication by IPs).

I'm trying to understand how should I order (and setup) a DID that I intend to use for incoming calls. The calls are to be terminated in my home (an Asterisk PBX, more specifically a PIAF distribution).
This is possible with our DIDs.
I find it a bit confusing the ordering process, the "instant order form" on the right, where it says " select forwarding destination". What should I choose there?
VOIP.
If I choose "VoIP", what are the host and details?
VOIP is fine as it was said before.

Host: the Domain/IP Host, for example: 123.234.23.2, sip.myownpbx.com

Details: the Username. This may be anything provisionally (for example: anything, username, myname, 12345553), and when you purchase your DID, you can replace it (but not obligatory) for your DID Number (for example, 5411XXXXXXXX). The obligatory thing is that the DID points to a Host/Details account which is configured in your PBX. You must setup your PBX to receive incoming calls from the DID (see here: phone2call.com/w/index.php?title=How_to_..._Phone2call%27s_DIDs).

Host/Details is equivalent to Host/Username or Username@Host.

You may visit this:
phone2call.com/w/index.php?title=How_to_...d_DID_Number_to_VOIP
Do I also have to set up the 'VPBX', or something else here besides my own Asterisk server?
No, you don't.
I'm no VoIP/Asterisk expert by any stretch, so any clear help will be very much appreciated.
We will do our best to help you.

Visit topics about DIDs in our wiki:

There is a forum topic titled: How to configure PIAF for Phone2call.com's DIDs? here:
pbxinaflash.com/community/index.php?thre...all-coms-dids.15710/
And last but not least: is the monthly charge recurring automatically? Or do I have to preload (top-up) my account instead? Please note I intend to use Paypal.
When you make an order for the first time, the purchase process is like buying any else product/service (no preload). If you want to have automatic renewal of your DID for the next period of the same DID (periodical payment), you need to have the Autorenewal option as Enabled (My DIDs Numbers -> Details -> Autorenewal) and have enough money in your account (to have preloaded money). Paypal subscriptions were possible in our site but were suspended a few days ago and so preload is needed currently. Info about how to preload money in your account is here: phone2call.com/w/index.php?title=How_to_...n_my_DIDs%27_Account

Glad to guide you.
