First of all, thanks for your fast response.

1) Understood. This is not a problem for us, because our intention is to receive calls from inside Argentina.

2) Yes, I received your testing calls. After this, I received a real call from Argentina and the caller id was displayed correctly, so it seems is working fine now.

Many thanks!

Best regards,
Ander.

I am getting 5412300002 as the caller id, instead of the true caller number 00349xxxxxxxx. Why am I getting this behaviour?
Two things:

1) Caller Line Identification - CLI is supported. However, CLI may not work if the Caller ID - CID is from outside of DID's country. Check it out here: phone2call.com/w/index.php?title=Feature..._Phone2call%27s_DIDs . For example, 00349xxxxxxxx is not from Argentina and the CLI may not work well.

2) We tested your DID and sent a Caller ID from Argentina and a number 5412300002/3 (you wrote one of these ones) appeared instead of real caller Argentinian number. Since that Argentinian Caller ID should have appeared, this is a wrong behaviour. This seems to be an issue from the local carrier and we told them about it with the purpose to solve this ASAP. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi all,

I have an Asterisk PBX and a DID from Argentina. I am properly receiving calls thanks to this guide:

phone2call.com/w/index.php?title=How_to_..._Phone2call%27s_DIDs

The problem is I am not getting the right number of the calling party. Following the Wiki example, I have configured my Dialplan as:

[callin-phone2call]
exten => blablabla,1,NoOp(Caller ID: ${CALLERID(all)})
same => n,Dial(SIP/201,30,r)
same => n,Hangup(16)

When I call from my Spain landing number, I get the following in the Asterisk console:

-- Executing [blablabla@callin-phone2call:1] NoOp("SIP/46.19.209.14-00000020", "Caller ID: "" <5412300002>") in new stack
-- Executing [blablabla@callin-phone2call:2] Dial("SIP/46.19.209.14-00000020", "SIP/201,30,r") in new stack

I am getting 5412300002 as the caller id, instead of the true caller number 00349xxxxxxxx. Why am I getting this behaviour?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Ander.
